The Harvesting Freedom Caravan travelled 63 km from Leamington, to Kingsville, to Windsor this weekend! The caravaners were loud and then some in the Windsor Labour Day parade! Gabriel Allahdua, farmworker organizer with Justice for Migrant Workers and the Harvesting Freedom campaign, addressed the crowds at the Fogolar Furlan club in Windsor at the end rally on Labour Day. He spoke truth to power about the empty seats that migrant workers would have occupied at the parade were they allowed to take holidays off.
